While searching for applicable quotes to use on my blog today as I contemplate the magic of spring and the renewal of life it brings, I came across this one by Michael Teal, I hope you will enjoy.

“Transform your thoughts and embrace love as a way of life. Your souls dance is one of great joy and by acknowledging its beauty you foster the awakening spirit and create positive outcomes in all aspects of life. The essence of being alive is to live like you mean it and transform limiting beliefs. By doing so you inspire the heart which will in return guide you along a path of bliss to a happy and passionate life.” (Michael Teal: source Gaiam quotes blog)

Truly one of the most important steps we take as we seek to transform our lives, is to begin with our thoughts. As the Great Buddha once said, “All that we are is a result of what we have thought.”

In natures cycle new life springs forth from the decay of winter. In like manner we are able to transform old decaying thoughts and beliefs, which limit and enslave us; into new patterns which free and transform us. Each day we live and breathe is an opportunity to become the loving compassionate beings we were born to be.

Today as we step into the beautiful gift we have been blessed with, I invite you to celebrate the magic of spring in your own life, as you transform your thoughts to create yourself anew. Life is a shining miracle, and each day a blessed gift.

As you observe the wonder of spring once again, allow yourself the simple joy you once held in years gone by. As children we embraced the mystery with a pure and simple joy as we observed flowers opening, birds singing, squirrels playing, and the magical grace of a butterfly first opening its wings…. Every sunrise and sunset is a banquet for your soul a feast for your eyes. Forget not the joy of the simple things.

May all your days be blessed with the  joy to be found in the mystery’s of life; in all its simple complexities. Even more so, forget not to take time to be filled with joyful awe in the loving presence of the Ever Compassionate One who makes all of life possible.

“When in doubt as to what to do, always allow love to be your guide.”

Today, I contemplate the wonder, and the magnitude of G’D’s Great Love for each of us, the works of his hands. When I contemplate the essence of G’D, I see vast unconditional love; mercy, kindness, compassion, forgiveness and provision for every need. I see a G’D who deeply loves both you and me. The G’D I see loves every person of every race and faith unconditionally.

Each one of us reflects the portion of G’D’s great light that we perceive. Our growth and view will naturally vary according to our experiences and perceptions of G’D found within our culture and faith. G’D is so vast and unlimited in Love for all mankind, that G’D is able to guide each one in their continued growth and expanding understanding of the love contained within the heart of the Divine. It is our understanding of this love which we daily portray in our lives; through our interactions with others.

In light of the resent outbreak of tornado’s I consider his great mercy. So many lives were spared. I am deeply grateful for each one. As these storms ravaged our land I simply prayed, “G’D save those who are in harm’s way. Let them live to see another day. Have mercy upon them this day.” Property is replaceable. People are not.” Considering the number of violent tornado’s that touched down on Friday, March 2nd 2012, we were very blessed, that so few lives were taken. G’D in his great mercy spared many lives, which could have been lost.

For your contemplation today I have a selection of verses from the Hebrew scriptures that reflect the loving-kindness of G’D. There are many more, but these especially stand out for me. I hope you also find peace and unconditional love for you, in these passages.

“Long ago the LORD said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.” Jeremiah 31:3

“I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love; I lifted the yoke from their neck and bent down to feed them.” Hosea 11:4

And again, “For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his loving-kindness for those who fear (*my added interpretation: “revere”) him.” Psalms 103:11

“Surely goodness and loving-kindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” Psalms 23:6

From IslamicSolutions.com Dr Pasha speaks of the Holy Qur’an‘s teachings on the loving-kindness and mercy of G’D:

“Just like we cannot think of rain or ocean without water; or of forest without trees; or of desert without sand; or of sky without sun, moon and the stars; in the same way we cannot also conceive of God without the qualities of love, compassion and mercy.

The Qur’an tells us over and over that Allah’s greatest attribute is his infinite love and his boundless mercy and compassion. God is, says the Qur’an, Rahmaanand Wadood: most merciful and most loving. The Qur’an makes it perfectly clear that nothing falls outside the bounds of God’s most amazing and all-encompassing grace.” (Dr. Pasha)

From the Native American perception Black Elk wisely observed that:

“Peace…comes within the souls of [human beings] when they realize that at the center of the Universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that this center is really everywhere. It is within each of us.”

Buddha in his G’D given wisdom declared that:

“In the end, these things matter most: How well did you love? How fully did you love? How deeply did you learn to let go?”

Every faith and tradition speaks of the importance of love, and most importantly, the great presence of the unconditional love the Divine daily blesses us with. May this love, ever be your guide.

Good-morning. I woke up extra early this morning, so I could spend a little extra time with my daughter before she left for work; and then have this special time with all of you.

Just before I woke I dreamed I was giving a message in a church about how very Blessed we all are. Part of the message I gave was, that instead of saying “this is my husband/partner and these are my children”, how much better it is to say “this is the husband/partner that G’D gave me, and these are the children G’D has given me to love.” “These are the friends and family that G’D has given me.” For truly everyone is a gift of Divine love! Each one has the potential to help us grow.

When we look at everyone through the eyes of love, we see their true potential. We see that everyone is a loving gift, of exceptional value. Some people are easy to love, and fit our life-like a custom-made glove. And then there are the people in our lives who are difficult to bear. They challenge us constantly, pushing us forward and making us grow. Thank G’D for them too, for if it weren’t for the challenges they give you, and all the things they put you through; you wouldn’t be the same amazing person you are today. For it is in facing our fears, and over coming our challenges that we grow each day; to become the people we have the potential to be. The darker the night, the brighter your light has the potential to shine.

My daughter loves to listen to CMT while she is getting ready for work. This morning as I was lying on the couch listening to the music with her, Blake Shelton was singing “G’D Gave Me You.” That song really woke me up, as it went so perfectly with the dream I just had. How beautifully G’D’s spirit orchestrates events to bring us messages of Divine undying love.  This message is so clear to me, everyone who is near and dear to me, G’D has given me to love.

So here I am, writing this down to let you know what a Blessing you are!  To each and every one of you, I Love you for who and what you are! I want you to be your highest and truest expression of who you really are. Move beyond your fears and obsessions. Do not look to possessions to define who you are. You are already a magnificent creation; a beautiful shining star. You are an expression of Divine love; here now to experience life as you truly are.

Love is the deepest well within your heart, that part of you that really sets you apart. When you allow love to be your guiding light, you are living your highest truth.  It is now that you are meant to shine. Remember the song, “This Little Light of Mine?” Well my friend, we each are Love’s Light, meant to bring an end to the darkness of bitter night! So let us all stand up together and let it shine!

You are Love’s gift to me, and to everyone you meet. G’D gave me you! How very Blessed we all are! My invitation to you, is to take time to notice the many gifts in your life. The people who are there for you through thick and thin; the people who love you no matter what shape you are in. The ones who hold you up when your life is caving in; they are G’Ds special gifts to you. Let them know how very much they mean to you! And yes, let us remember each day to say thank you to the One who makes this all possible, the One who will always be there loving you. Each day I thank G’D for giving me each one of you!

Thank you, for Being the Blessing that you each are! Thank you for allowing Love’s Light to shine, so brightly in this little life of mine!

Loving you in all that you do!

Kerrie UniFaith

Always allow Love to be your guiding light, and everything will turn out right.

Love is in the Air

Valentine’s Day, what a wonderful reminder it is, that Love is in the air! A Love so abundant that we all can be filled to the brim; and overflow with love for everyone the Universe sends our way. What a magnificent vision Love brings to us each day, that we open ourselves to its embrace. My challenge to you this day, is to allow Love to flow through you every day, as if it were Valentine’s Day, and everyone you meet is your beloved. For each person is a unique expression of the Love that formed us all. The Beloved is present in every heart, and Love is the most intricate part of our inner being.

Celebrate Love’s sweet embrace with every breath you take. For Life is the greatest gift, and the most magnificent adventure we are being blessed with!

To Love one another is the greatest admonition and our life’s true mission. Forget not you are the sweetest person you will ever know, now take that Love and let yourself glow. You can be Love’s Light to everyone you know!

May your life today be blessed in more way’s then you can imagine. May Love embrace your heart, and guide you forever more. Your journey is filled with many amazing opportunities to show Love’s light and make fear take flight. You are the one who can bring a kinder vision, filled with Love’s abundant provision’s; into every aspect of your daily life.

My Love to each and all of you today, and every day you are blessed with! Namaste!

When in doubt as to what to do, always allow love’s pure light to guide you on your way.

To each of you my friends and readers out in cyber space, I wish a very happy and peaceful new year. Every day is a new beginning. You have the incredible opportunity to begin again. I often told my children when they were young, “Today is a new day; you have a clean slate, so you can start over fresh.”

Life is such an incredible opportunity to experience! You each have so much potential. Do not give up, you can make a difference in this world. No matter what mistakes you have made, you can begin again. An excellent way to begin is to simply and unconditionally forgive yourself, and all those who have harmed you in any way. Forgiveness does not excuse another’s wrong act. The act of forgiveness simply releases the power of the event, or person from harming you any more. For more information on this subject I recommend Gerald Jampolsky’s wonderful book, “Forgiveness, the Greatest Healer of All.”

(* note: Do not put yourself in danger or contact an abuser to forgive them. There is no need to have tea together. When you forgive someone who has harmed you, use your discretion and maintain safe boundaries for yourself . This can be accomplished very simply, by repeating the following, or similar words to yourself. “__(name)___, I forgive you, I release you. You and I are free. There is nothing  but love between us.” )

To begin your personal transformation, you must observe your thoughts. All actions follow thoughts. To believe in yourself, eliminate doubt. When doubts creep in, tell them you do not have room for them anymore. Replace doubt with confidence. Visualize yourself working and relating with others confidently.

Next eliminate fear. Take it out with the trash, and don’t pack it back in. Replace fear with love. Nurture loving-kindness, compassion, tolerance and respect, both in yourself and others.

Seek to exercise gratitude daily. Take time to notice what you are grateful for. When someone at work, home  or school does a job well, praise them. Let others know they are appreciated by you. By treating others with kindness you will be planting flowers in the garden of your mind, which will bring you a beautiful harvest in the months to come. All that we give to others, comes back to us in like manner. This is the law of karma.

Look for the positive, the funny, the beautiful, the amazing and wonderful side in any situation. It will change your perspective immensely. When things go wrong, remember it could be worse, and for someone somewhere it is much worse. When it is difficult to keep things in perspective, rather than drawing deeper into your pain, reach out and help someone else who is also suffering. By lessening another’s pain, you will decrease your own as well.

Choose to not take anything others say or do personally. Each of us is creating our own story here within the experience of our life. No one else’s story is about you, it is their own story. You maybe a character in their story, but the role you play would be from their perspective, not yours. Choosing to no longer take things personally can be very transforming to your life.  To learn more about this and other wonderful life transforming tools, I would like to recommend don Miguel Ruiz’s amazing book “The Four Agreements.”

Consider that what goes into your mind, will soon be coming out of your mouth. Observe what you are putting into your mind and body both spiritually, physically and mentally. Think about the effect the people you hang out with, have on your attitude. What about the movies you watch, video games you play, and the books you read. Do they uplift and encourage you; or is it degrading and demoralizing? Only you can decide, what is best for you. Consider the food you eat. Is it healthy? Will it build you up physically and nourish you? Or does your food deplete you and leave you hungry for the nutrients your body needs in order to function?

Feed yourself healthy food, to give you the energy and clarity of mind needed to accomplish your goals this year. Nurture healthy friendships, with people who encourage you and build you up. At work seek to be positive and encouraging to others. You will feel better about yourself and your job when you do. When it comes to entertainment, you decide what makes you feel good inside, what adds to your life, and your overall experience here. Spiritually, seek out like minded people who share your beliefs. Fellowship with others like yourself will add a very special dimension to your spiritual practice that is difficult to duplicate alone.

In all aspects of your life you can begin again, by daily deciding what is best for you. Ask yourself, “Is this me?” “Is this what I am all about?” “Is this adding to my life, or taking away from it?” “Am I planting flowers or weeds in my garden now?”

Every day you live, you have the chance to begin again.  As you begin your journey into 2012, may G’Ds Peace be with each of you, as you continue on your life’s journey.

Namaste,  Kerrie UniFaith

When in doubt as to what to do, always allow love to be your guide

Through our words, we create our world. The experience we are presently having was brought into being by our thoughts, words, and deeds. We can choose to create positive healing experiences where we benefit both ourselves and others. Or we can create destructive experiences, which bring suffering to all involved. In Proverbs 13:3 it says, “He who guards his mouth preserves his life, but he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.” Again in Proverbs 16:24 it says ” Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.”

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama says in one of his beautiful quotes “Everyday, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.”

To benefit others as much as I can. This is the dream of my life as well. If each of us were to apply these healing words to our lives, what a difference we might make. For the words we say either build ourselves and those listening up, or they tear us apart, and bring destruction and suffering.

May I invite each of you to begin this new year by choosing to use your words for the healing and uplifting of both yourself, and all others with whom you interact. You have the potential to bring life and healing to any situation.

To begin we must fill our hearts and minds with healing thoughts, and words to use as needed in our daily lives. Here are some suggestions to begin with. You may seek more from any source you find healing and inspiring within your own faith.

“I Seek to understand, to forgive, to accept, to love unconditionally in every situation.”  (Kerrie UniFaith)

“I am Free from Fear, for it is Love that is guiding me.” (Kerrie UniFaith)

“The Universe guides me in all that I do.” (Affirm Your Life blogspot.com)

“I am a Magnet for all the good that life has to offer.” (Affirm Your Life)

“Walk in Love’s Anointing Today; Be Kind, Joyful, Peaceful and Subtle. Let G’D Love Others Through You.” (Given to me by my friend Philip Gekas)

“A loving person lives in a loving world. A hostile person lives in a hostile world. Everyone you meet is your mirror.”  (Positive Thinking Quotes)

“Positive and Negative are Directions. Which Direction Do You choose?” (Positive Thinking Quotes)

“A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart.” (Matthew 12:35)

O mankind!  There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Quran), and a healing for that which is in your hearts.” (Quran 10:57)

“And We send down from the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe…” (Quran 17:82)  (Health in Islam at islamrelgion.com)

“You are like a candle. Imagine you are sending light out all around you. All your words, thoughts and actions are going in many directions. If you say something kind, your kind words go in many directions, and you yourself go with them. We are …transforming and continuing in a different form at every moment.” Thich Nhat Hanh

In closing I would like to share with you this beautiful prayer from Abby Willowroot (I found this at spiralgoddess.com)

Make Me Strong in Spirit

“Make me strong in Spirit

Courageous in action

Gentle of heart

Let me act in wisdom

Conquer my fear and doubt

Discover my hidden gifts

Meet others with compassion

Be a source of healing energies

And face each day with hope and joy.”

Abby Willowroot (c) 1998

To each of you I wish a beautiful new year, filled with healing words and healing energy for yourself and all with whom you interact. May the G’D who loves us all from every faith and race; deeply Bless you in your walk with the Divine. Namaste.

Freedom from Fear

As we approach the new year, I pray the peace of G’D which passes all understanding to keep your hearts and minds at peace, no matter what the new year may bring. Know this, G’D is King of the Universe, and He is able to take care of each of us, no matter what.

In considering ways to live a life free from fear one tool you can utilize is the power of praise; which is available to each of us at all times. No matter the circumstances we face, when we choose to release our fears by simply praising G’D and trusting in his ability to carry us through whatever we are facing; our entire perspective on life changes. No longer do we feel anxious or fearful, instead we feel peace and joy in knowing that no matter what the day may bring, G’D will work everything together for our good. Praise is the key to set you free from your fears!

Here for your contemplation is one of the most famous scriptures in the Hebrew Bible dealing with fear.

Psalm 91

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.a I will sayb of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the Lord, who is my refuge— 10then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

Peace and Blessings to each and all. May your New year be Blessed.
